PRO10: ON TOP OF THE SITUATION FOR THE VISIT OF FORMER PRESIDENT DUTERTE TO CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY

Police Regional Office 10- Former President Rodrigo “Digong” Roa Duterte will visit Cagayan de Oro City for an official engagement with the barangay officials, businessmen, and other government dignitaries in the city on March 23, 2023.

PBGEN LAWRENCE B COOP, Regional Director said that the men and women of PRO10 are all ready to provide security assistance to ensure the security and safety of the former president.

“PNP PRO10 is on top of the situation and has activated its Regional Task Group to ensure the safety and security of the former president. We also assure the general public that our personnel, Quick Response Team (QRT), and Civil Disturbance Management (CDM) contingents will be fully deployed to secure the event,” he said.

He further added that PRO10 has already coordinated with the LGUs and other Law Enforcement Agencies to discuss security measures during the said visit.

“The PNP will always uphold the ‘Rule of Law’ and will be strict in enforcing the law without fear or favor from anyone that will cause harm and terror.”

Further, PRO10 highly asks the public to be more vigilant and give timely information to the authorities or the nearest police station for any suspected illegal activities and other nefarious plans/activities from any lawless elements. ###
