CARD MBA Named Among Top 500 Global Mutual Insurers

CARD Mutual Benefit Association (CARD MBA) has been ranked among the world’s Top 500 mutual and cooperative insurers in the latest 2026 Global Report of the International Cooperative and Mutual Insurance Federation (ICMIF).

CARD MBA ranked 481st globally, recognizing its continued efforts to provide accessible microinsurance and financial protection to communities across the Philippines.

CARD MBA CEO Jocelyn D. Dequito said the recognition reflects the organization’s commitment to providing a safety net for Filipino families and contributing to poverty reduction.

Founded in 1999, CARD MBA was established to protect microfinance clients and rural families from financial losses caused by death, illness, and natural disasters.

Today, CARD MBA serves more than 8 million active members and covers over 25 million lives nationwide, continuing its mission to bring affordable microinsurance closer to underserved and remote communities.
