The Biggest Sports Event of the Year: One Asenso Misamis Occidental Palaro 2024

The Misamis Occidental Palaro is back, 4 DepEd Divisions (Province of Misamis Occidental, City of Oroquieta, City of Ozamiz, and the Host City of Tangub) consisting of around 5,000 athletes, coaches, and officiating officials coming from different elementary and high schools in the province will compete to become the representatives of the upcoming NMRAA 2024 in Camiguin.

Governor Henry S. Oaminal emphasized that our sports development programs of the province's 5Ms development thrust is to cultivate and nurture exceptional athletes who possess the skill and caliber to thrive not only in local and national sports competitions but also on the global stage, proudly represent our province, and establish a strong connection between our sports events and the vibrant tourism promotion initiatives that showcase the stunning attractions and amenities our province has to offer.

Also, Commissioner Walter Torres spoke on behalf of Philippine Sports Commission Chair Richard Bachmann, saying that “this event embodies the spirit of unity, sportsmanship, and excellence, and I am deeply inspired by the dedication and passion displayed by all.”
